Yes. If at a later date, you no longer wish to receive these announcements, you can unsubscribe by clicking on a link at the bottom of the email.
What will happen once I hit subscribe?
You will be asked to enter some random letters that are displayed on the screen. Then you’ll get an email. No, just the site announcements (posts).
There’s a separate feed just for comments:
http://wakefieldstomp.com/comments/feed/
If you wanted to you could monitor that via email or google.
